As a Legislative Ambassador for the American Cancer Society and Vice President of the Ovarian Cancer Coalition of Greater California, she actively promotes cancer awareness, research, and legislative action aimed at improving patient outcomes. In addition to her leadership roles, she has provided support to several prominent organizations, including the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance (OCNA), American Heart Association, and CaringKind: The Heart of Alzheimer’s Caregiving. Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin serves on the Board of Trustees of her family’s historical property. Eagle’s Nest is the summer home of William K. Vanderbilt II, the great-grandson of Cornelius Vanderbilt. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
